Jersey Girls Wrestling League
Answering the call of NJ's growing field of female wrestlers, area coaches came together in the fall of 2023 to launch the JGWL - a (k-8) developmental league focused on facilitating experience-appropriate opportunities for female athletes, and growing the sport of girls wrestling.
ABOUT
JGWL is open to female athletes and teams (k-8) in NJ and the surrounding area, is administered by Main Street Sports, and is governed by league representatives made up from the founding teams. The league runs on the "WarZone" software platform providing maximum event efficiency and an opportunity for wrestlers to get multiple matches at a given event. Please watch this "WarZone" overview prior to participation in the league.

COMPETITION
To participate in the league competition, athletes must sign up with their team using the link provided to them by their coach, or by joining the "unattached" (i.e. no formal team affiliation) team by clicking THIS LINK.

League dues ($100 / athlete) cover the costs of all six events, and are collected at the time of league registration. Teams who wish to cover league dues for their athletes may do so by contacting the league.
